Minimums

Screen Printing – Multiple print locations allowed (front, back, sleeves) as long as the below criteria are met.

  • 12 pieces with 1 or 2 color print

  • 24 pieces with 3 color print

  • 48 pieces with 4-6 color print

  • 72 pieces with 7+ color print

It is possible to mix and match garment types to get a higher price breaks. Out price breaks are based on the number of same design items, no similar garments. For instance, if you order 100 t-shirts and 50 sweatshirts, as long as the design is the same for both items, you will be able to take advantage of the lower price 150 quantity break.

Embroidery – Multiple locations allowed. 6-piece minimum. Priced per 1000 stitches.


Turnaround

Standard turnaround time is calculated in business days from order approval, not including shipping. Complex orders and finishing services may increase turnaround time.

Typical turn around time is 7-10 business days.

Order approval may require multiple steps, including but not limited to, quote approval, art approval, and a final approval. Final approval approves all sizes, art, and pricing for an order.

Turnaround time includes ordering and inbound shipping of garments. Please let us know in advance if you have a specific deadline. Rush fees and expedited shipping charges may apply. Payment in full may be required for rush order confirmation.

We can usually accommodate orders needed within 3-4 business days when notified in advance. Large or complex orders that require major production adjustments may incur rush fees.

Orders larger than 351 pieces may increase turn around time.


Payment Terms

We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and purchase orders. Net terms available for approved accounts. All sales of custom products are final and non-refundable. We are not responsible for the fit of a garment.

50% down payment may be required to place an order. Payment in full may be required to place a rush order. Additional fees including but not limited to, art design, garment cost, and shipping may be added to your quote after approval. All additional costs will be discussed in advance. Payment of the remaining balance is due upon pickup. Payment in full is required prior to orders being delivered or shipped.


Artwork Approval

Artwork if possible should be submitted in 300 DPI or vector format and sized to the desired print size. Emerald Ink & Stitches (EIS) will not be responsible for poor quality printing due to poor quality artwork. We have a graphic designer on staff to assist and recommend changes to improve your final product.

All artwork is approved through an online portal and digital mock up that will be sent via email. Artwork must be checked for spelling, color, sizing, quantity ordered, placement and accuracy by the customer. This is very important because it is how your garments will be printed. EIS is not responsible for issues with art files including misspellings, errors, etc. We will do our best to catch issues in advance, but we may not see them all.

EIS will not accept responsibility for corrections requested after art approval.

If you require a completed production sample item with your exact screen print or embroidery work done on it, we can do that for an extra cost and possible delay of production deadline.

 Screen print pre-production samples are more costly than embroidery samples because the set-up time on our equipment is much lengthier. Pre-production sample costs:

 -          Screen Print Pre-Production Samples: Item cost+ $20.00 per each imprint color and imprint side (example 3 color front and back = $80.00 + cost of goods and any shipping that applies)

-          Embroidery Pre-Production Samples: Item cost+ $25.00 embroidery production cost.

 If your volume order total exceeds 500 items, you may qualify for a pre-production sample at no cost. Please inquire with your sales representative if you’re are going to place a larger order.


Placement

Standard placement for art that has no specification is 2” to 3.5” down from the bottom seam of the collar depending on the height of the artwork.

Although the printers at EIS have years of experience, each garment is loaded by hand onto the press and subject to variance. If you request your artwork to be printed 2” down from the collar, we will do our best to make sure each shirt hits the mark, but not all shirts will be exact. There is no way to efficiently measure the distance to the collar on each shirt, so placement may be off by as much as 0.5” in either direction. This will not be considered a misprint and EIS will not reprint or refund these shirts.


Zippers, Pockets, Seams

EIS uses advanced, automatic printing machinery, nevertheless inconsistencies may occur in registration and ink coverage when printing over zippers, pockets, seams, or any other uneven surfaces. EIS will not be responsible for these inconsistencies.


Item Stock

Most items we suggest maintain adequate stock levels, however some specialty items have a potential for stock issues. Garments are ordered after your order is placed, and we cannot guarantee their availability. In the event of stock issues, we will provide comparable replacement options for review and approval prior to production. Out of stock or back ordered items may result in delays.


Cancellations

Cancellations made after quote approval and down payment will be subject to a 30% restocking fee plus any additional fees required to cover services rendered. Cancellations will not be accepted once an order moves to production or the garment has been embellished or manipulated.


Misprints

EIS is committed to customer satisfaction and completing every order in full, however misprints occasionally happen. Please consider ordering extra if an exact count is required.

If your order will be short due to a misprint, we will contact you and try to offer a solution that meets your deadline. Otherwise, misprints will be removed from your remaining balance.


Quality Commitment

We value our customers and work hard to confirm that every order that leaves our facility is correct. It is the responsibility of the customer to review products for quality upon receipt. There is a 72-hour window (industry standard) from order receipt to notify us of any issues. Claims should be submitted to sales@eisandmore.com.

EIS will not be responsible for errors with an order when notified after 72 hours of customer receipt.

EIS is not responsible for under-runs or spoilage up to 2% on orders of 100 pieces per design, and up to 5% on orders of less than 100 pieces per design.

If EIS is determined to be responsible for errors with an order (ie: order printed differently than the approved mock-up), we will gladly accept responsibility and reprint the items in excess of the spoilage rate at no charge. A minimum of 12 pieces is required for a reprint. We do not offer refunds.

Defective items will need to be returned to the shop (UPS labels will be provided) prior to reproduction. EIS is not responsible for any items sold or given away prior to returning the order.


Social Media

We want to share our great work with the world and sometimes choose to show your work on our Instagram, Facebook, website, etc. Unless otherwise noted per order, we reserve the right to share your work online and other outlets.

EIS will never share print ready artwork, vector files, or any other assets that could be reproduced elsewhere.


Creative Services

Unless otherwise agreed upon, artwork created by EIS will be considered intellectual property and may only be reproduced at EIS. If you would like to use the artwork elsewhere, please notify us at sales@eisandmore.com and we can draft a contract.


Store Terms and Conditions

Stores sponsored by outside organizations (business, schools, booster clubs) maybe subject to specific open and close dates and no purchases may be made outside of those periods. Goods may not be produced before the end date of the store, thus you will not be able to receive purchased goods up to 2 weeks after a store closes. We are not responsible for any potential size issues that may occur and we cannot accept refunds or exchanges for decorated goods bought through a hosted store. If you have any questions on the sizing of a particular product, feel free to reach out to us and we can gladly help answer any questions. (Manufacturing flaws such as a wrong label size or a distorted print/embroidery can be replaced if requested in a timely manner after receiving the garment. Replacements may take up to a month to receive.) Any questions on logos for a hosted store should be directed to the outside organization representative.

Emerald Ink & Stitches sponsored stores may be opened and closed at our discretion. Any items bought directly from an EIS sponsored store maybe exchanged for a different size based on inventory. No refunds can be issued on decorated garments.
