Steve Riley (Emerald Ink & Stitches) and Alex Riley (Carolina Stitches) recently decided to combine their 30+ years’ experience in screen printing, custom embroidery and digital printing to create the largest supplier of custom apparel, digital printing and promotional products in the Lakelands.
The combined business adds new capacity in embroidery and screen printing and brings new capabilities in printing digital signs, banners, window decorations and placards to the Greenwood market. The bigger and better Emerald Ink and Stitches is a full service supplier with:
- In-house Graphic artist
- Full color digital printing for signs, banners and transfers
- Traditional silk screen printing
- Five multi-head embroidery machines
- Laser cutting and engraving
- On-site seamstress

With state-of-the-art design and production software, access to the largest suppliers in the apparel industry and a commitment to excellent customer service Emerald Ink and Stitches intends to be the premier supplier of custom apparel, banners and promotional products in the Lakelands.
The business will maintain the existing Carolina Stitches facility located at 103 Clay Street in Clinton to serve customers in Clinton and Laurens, Newberry and Union counties. Corporate accounts and customers in Greenwood, Abbeville and nearby counties will be serviced from Emerald’s office and production facility at 110 Anderson Circle in Greenwood.
